October 9, 2004 - Fundraiser for Emma
Thank you to the entire church family and all neighbors, friends and relatives who supported the fundraising events on Saturday, October 9. Special thanks are extended to Mr. Roberts restaurant in Valdese (whose motto is "Fine Food Fast") that donated their facilities for the carwash; and to Sue K. who donated her handmade quilt for a very successful raffle. The giant yard sale, bake sale, breakfast/lunch sale and Youth-sponsored carwash was a huge success! All proceeds are for the Emma Fund. The success is defined not only in the amount of money raised ($4,201.67), but as importantly, in the amount of love we shared by serving. Praise to the Lord Jesus Christ!
